The Cassville Car Ferry is set to launch for the season in early May. The ferry will begin its 2024 operations on May 3, according to an online announcement. The Pride of Cassville transports individuals, vehicles and equipment across the Mississippi River between Cassville and Clayton County, Iowa. The on-demand rides are offered on both a one-way and roundtrip basis, with costs varying by vehicle type. The ferry will run each weekend through Memorial Day, river conditions permitting, after which it will run seven days a week until Labor Day. After Labor Day, the ferry will operate each weekend through the end of October.
