On Saturday at 4:14 AM Lafayette County deputies responded to CTH W, in New Diggings for a vehicle in the ditch. As a result, 24-year-old Benjamin Davis of Scales Mound was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated 1st Offense. Davis was transported to Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office where he was released to a responsible party. Lafayette County EMS assisted.
