Platteville School District officials are weighing their options ahead of the 2024-2025 school year. Pay levels for certain club advisors are under review, and officials also are looking at cutting middle school football coaching positions. School officials already were considering cutting some programs last year to address changing student interests. The swim, dance and drama programs have had declining enrollment the past few years. However, the need for cuts became more urgent after voters in April rejected a proposal that would have increased the district’s operating revenue.
