On Monday Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit (Diego) initiated a traffic stop on Highway 18 in Bridgeport. K9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of controlled substances in the vehicle. A search was conducted, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were discovered. The driver, 42-year-old Christopher Sharlow of Beloit was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Prairie du Chien Police Department and Milo’s Towing Service.
