A Dubuque campground is closed until further notice due to high Mississippi River levels. The campground at Miller Riverview Park is closed. The release states that the city of Dubuque campground is expected to reopen by the upcoming weekend. The Mississippi River stood at 14.32 feet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Dubuque railroad bridge, according to the National Weather Service. Flood stage is 17 feet at the bridge. The weather service forecasts the river to drop to 12.4 feet by Sunday, July 13.
