74 hospitals in Wisconsin were recognized by the American Heart Association for improving heart disease and stroke outcomes. The 74 hospitals are highlighted for following up-to-date, research-based guidelines that make sure patients get the lifesaving care they need. Heart disease and stroke are the No. 1 and No. 5 causes of death in the United States, respectively. Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital in Boscobel, Lafayette Hospital and Clinics in Darlington, and Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville were recognized.
