Sony Pictures is developing a new Men In Black movie with Chris Bremner, who previously penned Bad Boys For Life and helped relaunch that franchise. Sources tell Deadline that once Bremner completes the script, Will Smith will be among the first to receive it with hopes he’ll return as Agent J. However, Smith is not currently attached and won’t commit until reading the finished screenplay. Plot details remain unknown, and it’s unclear whether Smith’s role would be starring or supporting in a passing-of-the-torch capacity. The Men In Black franchise has earned $1.904 billion globally across four films since 1997. Bremner’s recent Bad Boys films generated $837.1 million worldwide. He’s also writing Netflix’s Fast & Loose for Smith. (Story URL)
