We’ve all heard the excuse: “The dog ate my homework”, but this one is new, and LEGIT. A 20 year old college student at the University of Georgia failed her Econ exam recently because of a MEATBALL. WHAT?!? Yes, you see she was taking the test on-line with her laptop, while eating a meatball sub and sadly one of the ‘spicy’ meatballs fell out onto the keyboard and logged her out of the exam pre-maturely. Sadly, she couldn’t log back in to complete the test and got a failing grade. Thankfully her professor thought the story was so unbelievable that he actually DID believe her (I mean seriously who could make that one up) and gave her the chance to re-take the test.
