The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants on two separate Belmont homes Tuesday. According to a report, one warrant was for a home on South Mound Avenue. The search led to the arrest of 22 year old Dakota Soppe and 17 year old Mckenzie Schroeder. Officials said Soppe was arrested on suspicion of possession of THC with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia plus a probation and parole violation. Schroeder was arrested on suspicion of possession of THC with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A third person, 42 year old Karen Womack, who wasn’t at home at the time of the search, is being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for charges of maintaining a drug dwelling and possession of a Schedule II narcotic. The other warrant was executed at a home on Wood Street and led to the arrest of three mome people. Police said 25 year old Cody Vondran was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia plus a probation and a parole violation. Also, 27 year old Faith Hoffman was arrested on suspicion of possession of meth with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies arrested 48 year old Rebecca Riechers on suspicion of maintaining a drug dwelling. According to the sheriff’s office, a 4th suspect, 63 year old Lynda Forbes, is being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for possession of drug paraphernalia. All five people taken into custody were taken to the Lafayette County Jail. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
