Jogger Sought In Blue Mounds Death

Dane County deputies are looking to speak with a jogger who was near the Blue Mounds area the day of Nicholas Day’s homicide this month. According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, witnesses said the man was possibly seen by Bergum Road and County Highway JG January 15^th. Deputies described the jogger as a man with a full beard, wearing a brown jacket with red striping. Officials said the man is not considered to be a suspect, but investigators would like to speak with him or any- one else who frequently jogs in the area. Detectives also want to speak with anyone who might have been working in the area – like delivery drivers, utility workers and construction workers.
