No injuries were reported after a car collided with an Amish buggy in Lafayette County Wednesday around 6:30pm. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, Mineral Point Fire and EMS responded to the crash on Highway 23, in Willow Springs Township. 64 year old Patricia Thomas of Mineral Point was traveling south in a car on Highway 23 when she collided with an Amish horse and buggy driven by 26 year old Isaac Lapp of Mineral Point. Lapp was attempting to turn onto Highway 23 when he was hit by Thomas. The buggy received moderate damage and Thomas’s vehicle received major damage and was towed from the scene.
