Bond has been set at $1-million dollars for the man accused of killing Nicholas Day in Blue Mounds. A Dane County judge announced the cash bond on Monday afternoon for 21-year-old Riley Berg of Mount Horeb. Berg was arrested last week and faces a 1st-degree intentional homicide charge connected to Day’s death in mid-January. As of now, no motive has been listed in the complaint against Berg. He is scheduled to be in court again on February 25th.
