Authorities in Grant County are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of a vehicle that ran another vehicle off the road Sunday night around 10:30pm on Highway 80 north of Arthur. A 17 year old male from Monfort told investigators he was driving south of Highway 80, when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction appeared in his lane. The driver swerved to the right to avoid a collision, but was sideswiped by the other vehicle. The teen’s vehicle went off the road, traveled over an embankment and came to rest. The other vehicle, described as a white SUV continued on without stopping. The teenager and his passengers were not injured. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grant County sheriff’s office or Crimestoppers.
