Classrooms are empty again today (Friday) in the Richland School District due to widespread illness. Absences started to pile up earlier this week. Teachers reported to the school, but the kids stayed home Thursday and all parent-teacher conferences were canceled. Officials are hoping the unscheduled two-day holiday helps students and staff get healthy and return to class Monday.
