Evers To Attend Midwest Dairy Symposium At Platteville

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers will give the welcome address at the Midwest Dairy Symposium on Monday March 16^th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Velzy Commons at Ullsvik Hall, at UW-Platteville which is sponsored by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and UW-Platteville. The program will feature panelists from UW-Platteville including Dr. Kevin Bernhardt and Dr. Tera Montgomery as well as Pete Hardin, longtime editor of The Milkweed and Rick Barrett, the lead reporter on the Journal Sentinel’s yearlong reporting project Dairyland in Distress, and Rep. Travis Tranel. Travis Forgues of Organic Valley Cooperative will be the keynote speaker.
