SWCAP continues to provide some services during the coronavirus outbreak in Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette and Richland counties. SWCAP food pantries in Arena, Boscobel, Darlington, Dodgeville, Hazel Green and Monroe are open. They’re pre-boxing food, with a limited staff and are limiting interaction by using drive-up or deliver-to-car service. SWCAP’s Pop-up Pantry is traveling to area communities. Pre-boxed food totes are available for those in need who live in scheduled communities. The schedule will change, depending on availability of volunteers, check online at SW-Cap-dot-org. The LIFT program is operating – prioritizing medically-necessary rides and screening riders for illness. The SW-Cap homeless assistance programs continue to operate as well.
