The 2020 Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee has been pushed back until mid-August in response to the coronavirus pandemic. It will now take place the week of August 17th. It was initially scheduled for July 13th to July 17th. Organizers said the move allows convention planners more time to determine the best structure for the convention. Convention planners have consulted with the Fiserv Forum, Wisconsin Center District and hotels in the Milwaukee area to make sure mid-August would work for the event.
