Governor Tony Evers wants a special session of the legislature to meet Saturday and vote to postpone Tuesday’s election and make it mail-in balloting only, because of coronavirus concerns. Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald responded in a joint statement: “We continue to support what Governor Evers has supported for weeks: the election should continue as planned on Tuesday.”
