Police arrested a Fennimore man on Saturday morning after authorities received a report of someone trespassing at Dodgeville’s Walmart. In a report from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy arrived about 9a Saturday to assist Dodgeville Police. After an investigation, the suspect – 29-year-old Bryce Mathews – was arrested on numerous charges. He was booked into the Iowa County Jail on multiple counts of retail theft plus multiple counts of felony bail jumping – along with a count each of manufacturing with intent to deliver heroin, battery, obstructing an officer, criminal damage to property, and a warrant out of Sauk County.
