Lafayette County health officials today announced the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the county. Lafayette County was the last in southwest Wisconsin to not have a confirmed case. In Wisconsin, 173 new confirmed cases and nine more related deaths were announced today by state officials. The state now has a total of 2,440 cases and 77 deaths. As of today, three cases had been confirmed in both Grant and Iowa counties, while Crawford County had two.
