Authorities in Green County are investigating the theft of a semi-automatic rifle, some gun parts and a lot of ammunition. Deputies were called to the scene where the items had been taken from a vehicle a little after 3:00 a-m Wednesday. Monroe police arrested two men after spotting a pickup which matched the suspect vehicle description. Eighteen-year-old Jayden Rodriguez of Monroe and 17-year-old Luke Johnson of Albany were taken into custody. Several other suspects who ran away from the pickup are still being sought.
