Grant County District 8 Supervisor Pat Schroeder has retained his seat in the only contested race on the county board. Schroeder beat out Bill McBeth – 339 to 226. Schroeder has represented that district since last July when he was appointed to serve the remainder of Ron Copernall’s term. Copernall moved out of the district and stepped down from his post. Schroeder previously served 16 years on the Grant County Board. All 16 other board supervisors won re-election without opposition.
