Motorcycle Accident in Lafayette County

Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Lafayette County. 36 year old Luke Temperley of East Dubuque and his passenger, 34 year old Kelly Murphy of Dubuque, were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries. According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, Temperley was operating a motorcycle east on Buncombe Road in Benton Township at approximately 1 p.m. when the motorcycle hit loose gravel and traveled into a ditch. Temperley and Murphy bailed from the motorcycle prior to it becoming airborne and coming to rest in a creek.
