A one-vehicle accident in Lafayette County results in the spilling of a cargo-load of vegetable oil. South Wayne Fire and First Response and Green County EMS responded to State Line Road in Wayne Township around 9:45pm Wednesday night for a one vehicle accident. 32 year old Dustin Strait of Monroe was traveling west on State Line Road in a Freightliner semi-trailer when he failed to make a wide enough turn onto Butts Road causing the attached trailer to enter the ditch and overturn, spilling the cargo of vegetable oil. Reports say the semi also leaked some diesel fuel. The vehicle and trailer had severe damage and were towed from the scene. Strait had minor injuries but was not transported.
