Officials at a Prairie du Chien factory will temporarily shut down one of its facilities. In a statement, Prairie Industries announced it will close its North facility for both shifts until COVID-19 testing is completed with all results back. Company officials said that two more workers at the North facility have tested positive for coronavirus. Those two are in addition to the two other workers who had previously tested positive at that site. Prairie Industries suspended its 2nd-shift work during this past week to try and protect against more outbreaks. The facility’s staff is now working with the Crawford County Health Department to get more tests done. The company did not give a possible date to open again.
