Wisconsin Supreme Court Will Decide Future Of Safer At Home Order

The justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court will decide whether the governor’s Safer at Home order continues through May 26^th.  Attorneys for Department of Health Services acting-Secretary Andrea Palm and Republican legislators spent 90 minutes Tuesday giving oral arguments remotely.  Palm extended the order at the governor’s direction, but those fighting the order say she didn’t have the authority.  Republican leaders say Democratic Governor Tony Evers shouldn’t be able to make decisions unilaterally.  Conservative justices challenged the governor’s stance, comparing it to the definition of “tyranny.”
