A Mineral Point was uninjured after the straight truck he was driving rolled over Wednesday afternoon. Green County Sheriff’s deputies and the Monticello Fire Department responded to the single vehicle rollover around 1:40pm along County Highway FF in Sylvester. Reports say 23-year-old Gabriel Ottoway was driving a truck hauling fertilizer. Ottoway was driving east when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The truck left the roadway and rolled over. The truck sustained damage and had to be towed from the scene. A release said Ottoway was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured. The load of fertilizer leaked from the truck causing the road to be closed for 4 hours while the spill was cleaned up.
