The positive percentage of new COVID-19 tests has slightly increased to 6.4-percent. According to state health officials, the new numbers today (Thursday) confirmed 13 more people have died due to complications from the coronavirus. Wisconsin continues to see a downward trend in positive tests within a 14-day period, but the state is no longer seeing a similar trend in reports of those with COVID-19 symptoms. Right now, only 4 of the 6 criteria are being met as part of Governor Tony Evers’ Badger Bounce Back plan.
There are 52 labs throughout Wisconsin capable of running tests, and the state’s daily testing capacity has surpassed 13,000. Health officials said 337 new cases were reported Thursday, putting the state’s total at more than 11-thousand confirmed cases, with 434 deaths. Out of the people who tested positive, 19-hundred have been hospitalized and roughly 53% have recovered.
In Grant County – there were no new positive tests today (Thurs). The county has reported 71 cases and 10 deaths connected to Covid-19.
