Madison police say protesters peacefully gathered on the Capitol Square at the top of State Street Thursday night. Police say the crowd dispersed around three early Friday morning and no arrests were made. Late Thursday night, protesters marched around the Capitol Square and took their demonstration down several blocks of East Washington Avenue and onto residential streets on the near east side.
