Grant County Fair Canceled

Organizers on Monday announced the cancellation of the 2020 Grant County Fair due to concerns related to COVID-19. The fair was scheduled to run August 19 to August 23 in Lancaster. The annual event was slated for Aug. 19 to 23 in Lancaster. Grant County fairgrounds and operations director, Amy Olson said the fair board considered every option and had to amke the decision based on what is known today rather and what they think August will be like. Difficulties in sanitizing, maintaining social distancing and still having an enjoyable experience were identified in making a decision.
