The Grant County Health Department has confirmed nearly 180 positive cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. As of Monday afternoon, Grant County health officials have identified 178 total coronavirus cases with 8 active outbreaks in the county. Of the confirmed cases, 117 have recovered and 13 people have died due to complications related to the coronavirus. At a COVID-19 test site in Boscobel last week, 340 tests were conducted – yielding two positive results, including a person from Grant County and a person from Crawford County.
Elsewhere, Lafayette County has reported 70 cases since the pandemic began. Crawford County has had 41 cases, Iowa County 37 cases, and Richland County 15 cases. In Iowa, Dubuque County now has had 700 cases, and in Illinois, Jo Daviess County reports 47 cases.
