It was reported last week that a truck crashed into an Amish buggy on Highway 11 near Gratiot. 22 year old Elmer Stoltzfus of Gratiot died in the crash. It was also reported that a two-year old was injured in the crash. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department initially reported that the two-year old was Elmer Stoltzfus’ son, but now has corrected that information that the two-year old passenger was Elmer Stoltzfus’ youngest brother. 50 year old Terry Gensler of Shullsburg was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated. An investigation is on-going.
