Multiple emergency response agencies were paged to downtown Platteville early Sunday after a vehicle hit a building. Reports show that Platteville Police and Fire officials, along with Southwest Health EMS, were on the scene just after 2:30am Sunday. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a business at the corner of Main and Water Streets. Reports show a vehicle had crashed into the southwest corner of Al’s Auto Shop, severely damaging the building’s wall facing Water Street. At this time, no details have been released about the driver, their condition or what caused the crash.
