A new report from the Crawford County Health Department shows that officials are seeking stricter guidelines for area businesses as COVID-19 cases keep growing. According to the health department, the number of positive cases in Crawford County has tripled over the past two weeks. Those figures have led the county health department to suggest moving from phase 3 of their re-opening plan, back a step to phase 2. Officials recommend Crawford County businesses and other indoor facilities set their capacity at 50% occupancy, instead of 75%. The agency also would like to see larger outdoor gatherings capped at 100 people, and indoor gatherings at no more than 50. The health department is hoping those moves help slow the spread of COVID-19 in Crawford County.
