Two southwest Wisconsin men were arrested just after midnight Friday on multiple charges after a traffic stop in Darlington. Police say 21-year-old Jarad Heim of Shullsburg was pulled over about 12:15am on Main Street. Darlington Police and Lafayette County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted an investigation. That led to authorities arresting Heim for possession of meth, operating after revocation, felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping, and three active warrants. His passenger, 18-year-old Jason Leitzinger of Platteville, was arrested for possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving stolen property, and a probation hold through the Department of Corrections. Leitzinger was also issued a citation for underage person possessing alcohol.
