Two people were taken to a Prairie du Chien hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash last Friday evening. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reports that 17-year-old Devan Bailey of Bagley and 33-year-old Elizabeth Steiber of Prairie du Chien were transported to Crossing Rivers Health. Authorities say Bailey was stopped on County Highway C at the intersection with Highway 18 just south of Bridgeport. Bailey attempted to turn onto Highway 18, into the path of Steiber’s vehicle, causing the collision. Multiple agencies – including the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, West Grant EMS, Bagley First Responders, the Bloomington and Patch Grove Fire Departments, as well as Tri-State Ambulance – assisted Grant County deputies at the scene.
