New Glarus Man Arrested For Incident in Lafayette County

Lafayette County authorities arrested a man from New Glarus for an incident shortly after 8:30pm Wednesday in Blanchard Township. A deputy assisted the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources with the arrest of 36 year old Joel Zimmerman for Endangering Safety and Intoxicated Use of a Firearm. Zimmerman was taken to the Lafayette County Jail in Darlington where he later posted bond and was released to a responsible party.
