School officials in Mineral Point have voted to switch to a fully-virtual learning model for the next two weeks. The Mineral Point school board took that action last night, following the recommendation of the Iowa County Health Department. With the shift, the district will not have any classes today (Tue) as staff prepares for the change. Full virtual learning will start Wednesday. The Mineral Point School District plans to resume a hybrid instructional model October 27th. Mineral Point regular season athletics – including boys’ soccer, cross country, volleyball and football – have been suspended for two weeks. Post-season play will be allowed.
