Man From Montfort Arrested For His Role In Disturbance

Iowa County authorities received a report Sunday night around 9pm of a disturbance that had taken place at an address on County Highway B near Montfort. Deputies with the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene. After an investigation, 31 year old Franklin Herrera- Jiron of Montfort was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Strangulation/Suffocation. Herrera-Jiron was taken to the Iowa County Jail, booked on his charges and remains pending a bond hearing.
