A car, recently pulled from the Mississippi River near Marquette, is the same vehicle that was reported stolen from Muscoda about 14 years ago. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office initially shared details on social media about the 1985 Lincoln Town Car that was retrieved last week. The Muscoda Police Department has now said the vehicle was taken from South Ohio Street in mid-September 2006. Multiple agencies were able to pull the vehicle from the water by a Marquette boat ramp due to the low river levels. Anyone who has information about the vehicle’s theft should contact Muscoda police at 608 – 739 – 3144.
