A Dickeyville woman escaped injury after a morning crash in Paris Township. According to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office report, 34-year-old Amanda Morin was driving north on Indian Creek Road, about 2 miles west of Dickeyville. Morin told authorities she swerved to miss a deer in the roadway. Her vehicle went off the side of the road, crashed into a tree and came to rest in a creek bed. Morin was able to get out of the vehicle and walked to the Village of Dickeyville to call for help. She was wearing her seat belt and did not report any injuries. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says the crash remains under investigation.
