Two people from Prairie du Chien and two from La Crosse have been arrested in connection to a string a thefts that occurred during the past month. According to a Prairie du Chien Police report, several agencies worked together when executing 3 search warrants last week. As a result of the investigation, police arrested 41-year-old Christopher Marshall of Prairie du Chien on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, felony bail-jumping, burglary, possession of stolen property, multiple counts of theft and a count of mistreatment of animals. Also arrested was 24-year-old Bryce Denson of La Crosse, who faces charges of 4 counts of operating a vehicle without owner’s consent, 11 counts of theft, possession of stolen property, felony bail-jumping, burglary and theft of a firearm. The report shows 22-year-old Tyler Peregrin of La Crosse was arrested on 11 counts of theft, possession of stolen property, felony bail-jumping and 5 counts of being a passenger in a stolen vehicle. And 22-year-old Emily Eastman of Prairie du Chien was arrested on charges of possession of meth, party to a crime of theft and being a passenger in a stolen vehicle. Eastman was released on bond. The other three are being held at the Crawford County Jail. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
