Lafayette County authorities made a drug arrest after investigating a traffic hazard shortly after 6pm Monday night near Darlington. A deputy responded to Short Cut Road in Darlington Township and placed 29 year old Marcus Gilberts of Darlington under arrest for Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia, Resisting and Obstructing causing Injury, Possession of THC, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Gilberts was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.
