Two people from Minnesota will each serve at least 5 years in federal prison for trying to sell meth in Prairie du Chien. According to a report from the US Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Wisconsin, 33-year-old Jeffrey Costillo and 27-year-old Denise Kraimer were sentenced on a charge of conspiring to distribute meth. Costillo was given a 7-year prison sentence, while Kraimer will serve 5 years. Both will be on supervised release for 4 years following their prison terms. Police worked with an informant in 2019 to purchase the meth from Kraimer. Authorities arrested Costillo and Kraimer when the drug deal was planned to happen. Investigators found more than 100 grams of meth in their car.
