A man from Platteville was arrested Monday following an incident in Dubuque. 42 year old Daimen Godfrey was arrested around 1:30am Monday on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and interference with official acts with injury, as well as a warrant charging failure to appear. A report says that Godfrey also caused minor injuries to Officer Brendan Nugent while being arrested.
