Roughly a quarter-million dollars in damage was done to multiple farm buildings due to a fire that happened Friday afternoon. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office reports that crews were called to the scene in Cascade shortly after 2pm. Deputies say that the fire started in a barn and then spread to another outbuilding and also damaged a nearby corn crib. No injuries were reported in the blaze and authorities do not believe the cause of the fire to be suspicious in nature.
