The City of Lancaster has received grants totaling almost $135-thousand dollars from the Lancaster Community Fund. This money will be used to fund improvements to the Memorial Park Warming Shelter. According to a release, the Warming Shelter in Memorial Park is the largest and most used shelter in the city. Funds will be used to make repairs to the main floor as well as construct modern, handicap accessible bathrooms.
