A rural Blanchardville man suffered minor injuries after his vehicle struck a tree in an attempt to miss a deer in the road. Deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Department responded to Sawmill Road in York Township shortly before 3am Monday for a report of a one vehicle crash. 35 year old Jeffrey Seichter of rural Blanchardville was westbound on Sawmill Road when a deer entered the roadway. Seichter swerved to miss the deer, entered a ditch and struck a tree. His vehicle had severe front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
