Lancaster Mayor David Varnam has set his sights on the office of Lieutenant Governor is 2022. Varnam has taken the initial steps to run for Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin in the 2022 election. An official announcement will be made soon. Varnam was elected Mayor of Lancaster in 2016. Prior to that, he served on the Lancaster City Council from 2013 to 2016. He is a former Congressional aide and was a legislative analyst for Focus on the Family.
