A Chicago woman was arrested in Darlington recently on charges of disorderly conduct and battery. According to a Darlington Police report, 31-year-old Ana Garcia Diaz was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday. Officers were called regarding a disorderly conduct incident at a home on West River Street. Following an investigation, Garcia Diaz was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where she was booked on her charges. She was released to a responsible party after posting bond and faces future court proceedings.
